Our Experience

Merrik joined the team in 2015 having previously been a Senior Development Manager at Quintain.

Merrik is responsible for sourcing new investments as well as driving development and refurbishment initiatives. Current projects include Regent’s Wharf, 105 Victoria Street and separate account projects including Whitechapel.
Former projects include Twenty St James’s St, Thameside West and Greenwich Peninsula

Merrik has a Masters degree in International Business from the University of Edinburgh.

Andrew joined the team in 2019. Previously he worked at Schroders as the Senior Fund Accountant for Welput.

Andrew is responsible for Welput’s financial and investor reporting, liquidity management and compliance.

Andrew is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Newcastle.

Cliff joined the team in 2022 having been an Investment Analyst at Legal & General Capital. Cliff’s key responsibility is supporting the financial analysis of the existing portfolio, supporting investor reporting and assisting development and asset management teams.

Cliff holds the Investment Operations and Investment Management Certificates, has passed CFA level 2 and is also a member of the UKGBC Leadership Alumni.

Emma joined the team in 2021 having previously worked at Tishman Speyer within the Design and Construction team.

Emma’s focus is on driving development and refurbishment initiatives and is currently the BGO European EDI lead. Current projects include The Waterman and 105 Victoria Street. Former projects include 25 Shoe Lane and Smithson Plaza.

Emma is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building and has a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Liverpool.

Elodie joined the team in 2021 having previously worked at Europa Capital.

Elodie is responsible for strategic asset management initiatives and occupier engagement across portfolio. Other key work streams include investor reporting and debt financing. Former projects include 101 New Cavendish St and 78 St James’s St

Elodie is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and holds a Masters in Real Estate from the University of Reading.

Phil, an investment and development specialist, joined the team in 2015. His role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including sourcing new investments, managing leasing and investment transactions, and spearheading development and refurbishment projects.

Among the notable projects he has been involved in are Portman Square House, 101 New Cavendish Street and separate account projects including 78 St. James's Street.

Before joining the team, Phil was a member of the Central London Investment and Development team at Cushman & Wakefield. He holds a degree in Land Economy from the University of Cambridge and currently serves as a board member of the Baker Street Quarter Partnership BID.

Alexander joined the team in 2019 and leads the Welput Asset and Development management teams with a key focus on driving ESG ambitions for the Fund.

Alexander holds a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Assessment of Professional Competence and is a member of the WPA Sustainability Board. Current projects include Bury St and 105 Victoria St. Former projects include 78 St. James’s St, 25 Shoe Lane and St Mary’s Axe

He also has an honours degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of the West of England.

Leila joined the team in 2018 having previously worked at Tetragon.

Leila is responsible for management of the team as well as driving branding and marketing initiatives at an asset level, and community engagement efforts aligned with social impact.
Current projects include Regent’s Wharf and 105 Victoria Street.

Leila has a Bachelors in Fine Art from the University of Ulster.

Anna joined the team in 2024 from the Central London Investment team at CBRE, with a background in investment, leasing and professional advisory across the office and retail sectors.

Anna’s primary focus is managing leasing and investment transactions, alongside asset management of WELPUT. Current projects she is involved in include 105 Victoria Street, Regent’s Wharf and The Waterman.

Former projects include 22 Bishopsgate and Royal Exchange.

Anna is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and holds a Masters in Real Estate from Kingston University.

Jonathan has 9 years’ professional experience. He started his career at Morgan Stanley and worked within its top-ranked Sustainability Research team before working as an Associate Director in the Sustainable Investment team at Gresham House.

Jonathan holds a 1st Class degree in English Literature from the University of Bristol and is a CFA Charterholder.
